One word: Campfire (or is it two words? ...)
Fellowships are awesome, for campfires alone. When you register for a fellowship, you get a insignia. This insignia is really a right click teleport to campfire item. It is on a 15 minute recast timer... thats pretty darn fast. To make a campfire all you need is 3 fellows standing next to each other... and only for a brief instant... soon as the fire is created it lasts a long time.
I've been using it to transport to my guild raids and to transport alts around quickly... but thats not all! For a relatively cheap amount of platinum you can set a camp fire with a positive effect. These effects are nice and last a very long time.
I'll have to make a good write up of all the campfire effects... but they are really nifty.
Other than campfires, the benefits are really just a fancy form of chat. Using the /fs (fellowship) channel allows you to talk easily with your fellows. But I just use mine channel to coordinate the campfires... which I'm really enjoying.
Well, back to round number 4 of sisters tonight... soon phase 1 will fall... soooooon.

great write up, one downfall to using the positive effects is that some of them are either bugged or just plain suck...a monk in my fellowship decided to put a cleave effect on our campfire and bring it along with us on our trek across the demi plane but it turns out that it blocks buffed haste...not good so we ditched that and he ended up grabbing a last blood instead :p

for sure! There are several bugged flag effects. cleave blocks haste, fero blocks ranger's pred and monk's wu....
I'm sure there are several other issues too..
I heard the caster spell damage buffs are all stacking at the moment.. so that with a good campfire and a guild banner casters can get some serious damage boosting.
hey Swampy, don't forget all the fun mis channels during raids that /fs provides us :)
